[the little sigh makes him smile in spite of himself, the kind of dumb-looking smile he tries not to make in public too often, and he lets out an amused breath.]
Next you'll be telling me that's how conversations work.
[he's also going to try and use that hooked ankle to pull isaac's foot in his direction. because stealing it seems legit.]
[peter is pretty unrepentant about that. his only actual goal was to pull isaac's foot onto his lap, though, hands wrapped loosely around his ankle and the arch of it, where it's unlikely to tickle. on the upside, his hands are warm.]
[not that he's holding it any more firmly, or trying to stop isaac from poking him, or that he could actually keep isaac from taking his foot back in the first place.]
[unsurprisingly, it is not difficult to make peter let go, because he wasn't holding on very hard, and he just laughs when isaac frees his foot. he does, however, twist his wrists to try and catch isaac's hands instead.]
[yep, isaac has definitely discovered his plan. and luckily the floor doesn't give a damn about spilled water, because peter has entirely forgotten about the glasses by the time his back hits the mattress. he's not going to let isaac win too easily, but the conclusion is rather forgone.]
[Isaac doesn't use his strength the way he does when he's fighting, lets Peter have a little give and take before he finally pins the other wolf down by the shoulders, breathless and laughing, his legs pressed on either side of Peter's hips.]
Holding it hostage so you'd get me like this.
[He leans in a little until their noses are almost touching with a wicked little smile quirking at his lips.]
[Isaac stares down at him for a long few moments, practically feeling the other boy's heart pounding as they sit there. He wants to kiss him again- of course he does, what else would they do in a position like this?- but Isaac still doesn't quite know where that path will lead, and the uncertainty makes him pull back a little, head tilted with that same little grin.]
[Isaac can hear it and he's not sure what to make of it- the indecision makes him just stare up toward the ceiling, and there's a fair amount of regret starting to surface. If there was a moment- well, that was it.]
One of us should probably clean up that water, I guess.
[he rolls off the mattress without stepping over isaac like he usually does, and if he's gone longer than it would actually take to go get a towel to mop up, well. he has to sleep next to isaac, and he'd like to actually be able to sleep.]
[That's sort of what he'd been afraid of, but Isaac doesn't say anything, just focuses all of his attention on trying to rearrange the blankets to look somewhat livable before laying back down with a huff.
Pointedly, he grabs at where he left his gameboy and starts his game up again and doesn't think about it. Even when his little character is just walking around in circles doing absolutely nothing, he doesn't think about it. It's too much to consider right now, not when everything is still heated from the moon.]
[peter is, at least, courteous as one can be about it, his hands smelling strongly of soap and not much else when he reappears with a towel and cleans up the water, and he steps over isaac and settles back into bed like everything's normal. he's a seventeen-year-old boy, but he's not that kind of jerk.]
[Isaac is thankful for that much at least, and he settles a little further into bed when Peter comes in. He also acts like nothing happened, and makes a grunt of acknowledgement when Peter asks him the question.]
The farming one. I forgot to feed my cows yesterday so two of them got sick.

[He's grinning now, nudging at Peter's foot with his own and taking a long drink.]
Thanks, for, you know. Not making a big deal.
action
We've had enough big deals lately. Thanks for telling me.
[thanks for trusting me is what he means, but that sounds like a big deal and isaac will probably get the idea anyway.]
action
You asked.
action
Next you'll be telling me that's how conversations work.
[he's also going to try and use that hooked ankle to pull isaac's foot in his direction. because stealing it seems legit.]
action
I have a hunch that it just might be.
action
Madness.
action
Can I have that back?
action
[not that he's holding it any more firmly, or trying to stop isaac from poking him, or that he could actually keep isaac from taking his foot back in the first place.]
action
[Isaac rolls his eyes and pokes him again.
Poke. Poke.]
action
[he definitely isn't twitching with suppressed laughter when isaac pokes him. nope.]
action
[Isaac hefts himself up in a sitting position and doubles over, trying to pry Peter's arms aside with his hands.
action
[unsurprisingly, it is not difficult to make peter let go, because he wasn't holding on very hard, and he just laughs when isaac frees his foot. he does, however, twist his wrists to try and catch isaac's hands instead.]
action
[Isaac pitches himself forward with the intent on knocking Peter over so he can wrestle him into a totally-not-homoerotic submission.
The water glasses are, unfortunately, beyond saving at this point.]
action
[yep, isaac has definitely discovered his plan. and luckily the floor doesn't give a damn about spilled water, because peter has entirely forgotten about the glasses by the time his back hits the mattress. he's not going to let isaac win too easily, but the conclusion is rather forgone.]

[He leans in a little until their noses are almost touching with a wicked little smile quirking at his lips.]
Closer to you.
action
[that was a definite yes. he tilts his chin up until their noses bump, his chest still heaving.]
It kinda worked. If that was my plan, I mean.
[he doesn't think he's fooling anybody here.]
action
I think you just gave up the game, Rumancek.
action
Well, I tried.
action
[Isaac rolls off of him then, letting his shoulders hit the bed with a little sound.]
Commendable, even.
action
[he's just going to lay there until his heart slows down, because really, isaac.]
action
One of us should probably clean up that water, I guess.

What're you playing?
action
The farming one. I forgot to feed my cows yesterday so two of them got sick.
