Do you remember the first time we sparred? You wanted to fight Connor, too, but his ribs were cracked, so you settled for me?
That was mostly my fault.
Admittedly, the fall off the side of the building he was climbing didn't help, but I finished the job. I was...adjusting poorly to Asgard, shall we say. We were both spoiling for a fight and ran into each other. We fought, and then I realized that he wasn't what I wanted to hurt. And we stopped.
I think that there are no guarantees to anything, ever, but that's a very poor reason not to try.
People that are important like that aren't found around every corner. It's rare enough to find one, right? Two is maybe a little extraordinary. When you find something that could make you happy, then you don't let it slip away. It would be a bit ridiculous to call me anything like an expert, but it seems shortsighted to say there's only one right way to have a relationship.
I told my brother, once, that were he to find some love that was his, was real, that he should hold fast and never let it go. Because it doesn't matter what anyone else thinks, not really. You find your havens where you can.
Which is not to say that such a thing would be easy. But then, it might be. In any case, I think it's better to know what is than wonder what could have been.

But really, as long as everyone had most of their clothes on, it's not that compromising.

And as long as no one ends up bleeding or with broken bones you'll have done better than Connor and me.

So really, it isn't hard to do better than that.

I don't think anyone is going to hate you for liking them, Isaac, whether or not they return the feeling.
