now i am officially worried about santana.

and yeah. almost. he and allison both went back home for awhile i guess.

[Erica promises to work a longer shift tomorrow and then she is out of the library as if it had been on fire! She almost runs the entire way home and when she gets in the front door -- she's a little out of breath.]

Okay! Hi! [Ow. Cramp. Ow. Side. Hurting. Her hand goes to her side as she takes deep breaths. Considering her life before she was healed, it's no wonder she's not in the best shape!]

Ow. Ow. Come here and tell me things while I suffer through this pain.

Are... you okay?

[Isaac is just going to lift an eyebrow at her. Uh- ?]

I ran here. It was a bad idea. [Ow. Ow.]

But tell me! [She stands up straighter and exhales as she rubs her side.]

Tell you what? There's nothing to tell.

[HO HUM HO HUM NOTHING AT ALL.]

[Such a narrowing of her gaze.]

Tell me. I mean, first - where were you even? Then, the whole [There's some sort of hand gesture here. It's more a vague waving of her arms as if to say "the whole thing" but it's a bit more flailing, but still controlled to a small area.] with Scott.

I was- I dunno. It was like some kind of alternate universe? Weird.

[Isaac shrugs.]

Everything was different. The colors were inverted and all the natives hated us- like attacked us in the streets. Then the giants attacked there? so it was basically chaos.

we all had our powers back too but nobody could understand anyone that wasnt from their world

[Erica frowns briefly.] You got to be a werewolf? [Now she wishes she had been there... but it probably would've meant that she wasn't a werewolf there either.]

I wish I had at least seen it.

[freezerburned]

Yeah. For a little while.

[He nods, smiling a little at the memory.]

But we're really not that cool looking.

[better]

But I still would've seen or we could've hung out with you and all the powers that you have. [She shrugs, the cramp from earlier subsiding as she stands there.]

Do you miss it again?

[freezerburned]

A little, yeah.

[Isaac shrugs, moving to sink back on the couch.]

...I dunno. I attacked this girl- didn't hurt her or anything, but it sort of made me remember how hard control was sometimes. At least with shadows, you don't have to worry about them hurting anyone unless you want them to.

[Erica nods and moves to sit next to him. She kneels on the couch, leaning her weight to the back of it.]

You'll learn that back home, though, right? The control?

[freezerburned]

Yeah. [He shrugs, remembering that night in the train car- that was hard on all of them.]

Derek teaches us. As best he can, anyway.

What else did you do over on that other side?

[freezerburned]

I, uh.

[He sort of shrugs, trying to be casual.]

I talked to Scott. About, um. Us.

[better]

Us? There's no - Oh... not - [She smirks.] Not you and me 'us' but you and him us.

How'd that go?

[freezerburned]

Shush.

[He kicks at her shin, lightly.]

Fine, I guess. He likes me. I think. He said Allison likes me- or, she did, but she went home and might come back to wanting to kill me. Then, we uh- started kissing.

[Cough.]

And Derek walked in.

[better]

[She doesn't WANT to laugh, but it happens anyway. She can't help it, but it's sort of just like Derek (in her opinion) to have the worst possible way of dealing with anything. He finally got his wolf stuff back and the one thing he does successfully is still mess up their lives.]

Sorry! Sorry. [She takes a breath.] So how was the kiss? Heart racing and nearly feeling like a heart attack inducing or was there no spark?

[freezerburned]

Oh my god, I shouldn't have said anything at all.

[Isaac huffs angrily and moves to stand, pacing around the room before shooting a glare back at her at the question.]

It didn't happen. We were- inches away from one another and Derek ruined it.

[RUINING HIS LIFE FOREVER.]

[She's not sure how that is a first kiss... it didn't even happen. That's their first attempt at a kiss possibly. Technically, the kiss on the cheek might count more than this one... but Erica's not going to say that. Especially with him huffing and pacing around now out of frustration with her. Her and the situation that got ruined, but still... she knows she's being a pain.

Which is why she gets up and moves to stop him from pacing. Her hand rests to his foreearm and she slowly moves to take a hold of his hand.]

I'm sorry that it didn't go the way you wanted. You know, if I hadn't met Sam I would've wanted my first kiss to be with you. So, I can tell you that I'm sure if Scott wanted it to happen in that moment he is gonna be okay with it happening in another one.

[Isaac pauses for a moment before looking up at her at the touch to his arm, his head tilted slightly when she admits that she would have wanted to kiss him. In truth, he doesn't know how to take that, but he shakes his head anyway with a sigh.]

I appreciate it, but- it's pretty ruined right now. Stuff is a lot more complicated here than it was there- Allison is back, now Derek knows, and Scott still hasn't texted me or anything.

[Erica's glad that he didn't comment on the kiss thing. It's not that she didn't think he's attractive, they already have gone around that topic more times than is really needed for best friends, but she doesn't feel that way about him. It was more of a trust thing, that if she was going to die at sixteen she didn't want to die without experiencing that. She trusted him to make sure that she didn't die before that happened.]

I think that's the first time I've ever heard that... about being in Asgard. It'll work out, though. It's a big deal and if that kiss was going to happen, then it's going to happen again. You just have to be patient. [She gives his hand a squeeze.] You are the worst at being patient, so I'm just telling you to be patient.
