[after his conversation with steph peter comes home and finds isaac in the kitchen making coffee, which is one of the bigger luxury purchases they brought back from vegas. he take off his winter things and shuffles over in his socks to wrap his arms around isaac from behind, nuzzling his icy nose against the other boy's neck. luckily, the rest of him is warm.]

Not even a week, Lahey? Really?

What?

[A shiver goes down Isaac's spine at the cold and he tries to squirm out from Peter's grip and cold nose.]

-hey!

[werewolfing]

[peter is being wily and holding on, although he's also replaced his cold nose with his significantly warmer mouth.]

Not even a week. I was talking to Steph.

[freezerburned]

A week for what?

[He's still a little jumpy after Peter's nose, but not entirely trying to force his way out- merely making his displeasure known and wriggling insistently in Peter's grip. The press of his lips definitely manages to calm him down a little, but he still huffs, affronted.]

[werewolfing]

[while he does seem to be ignoring isaac's displeasure at being held onto, he's also keeping his nose off isaac's skin, his breath warming the spot his nose had chilled.]

Before you spilled. About us.

[it's 100% obvious in his manner that peter finds this purely funny. possibly adorable.]

She did mention that she kinda tricked you though.

[freezerburned]

...oh.

[The huff quickly turns into something that is definitely not a pout.

And then, just so Peter knows what he was up against-]

She said she wanted a threesome.

[werewolfing]

If only.

[he gives a little amused hum and kisses isaac's neck again.]

She's wily like that.

[Isaac rolls his eyes and runs his fingers over Peter's hands that are locked around his waist.]

It was a possibility.

[werewolfing]

If only her boyfriend was a little less into monogamy. Really, rikonoro, does it sound like I'm blaming you?

[it's not like peter wouldn't be right there given the opportunity. he's got his sleeve rolled up a bit so it's not rubbing the tattoo on his wrist, which is hitting the flaking stage and lightly moisturized with olive oil.]

[freezerburned]

I guess not.

[He sighs, finally relenting into the grasp and leaning back against the other man.]

Still, I didn't really mean to, it just sort of... slipped out.

[werewolfing]

[peter makes a pleased sound when Isaac leans back into him, hands unlocking to lie flat against his abdomen.]

Not like I mind. It's not a secret. Just funny when they think they're teasing me about you.

[freezerburned]

[There's a pause, and Isaac tilts his head back so he can look at Peter with a lifted eyebrow.]

They tease you about me?

[werewolfing]

Yeah, sure. Steph teases me about you only slightly less often than she teases me about how I'm not actually allowed to kiss her. Tempest isn't quite as bad, but only because she knows I can fluster her.

[he seems to consider this pretty normal.]

[freezerburned]

[This is sort of news to Isaac.]

I remember them saying stuff about you, but- I guess I didn't realize it was teasing.

[A pause.]

Do you think they were waiting for us to come around? Steph seemed pretty smug when I told her. [Did they ship us Peter this is important.]

[werewolfing]

[he hasn't actually thought about it before, and he makes a thoughtful little sound as his teeth close gently around isaac's earlobe and drag down it.]

If she was being smug, then yeah. They totally were. Damn.

[he chuckles. they were totally shipping it. shee-it.]

[freezerburned]

[Isaac shivers, but for a different reason now, and he presses back a little more firmly against Peter before letting out a little sound.]

-coffeepot is on.

[Meaning we can't just leave it.]

[werewolfing]

Then I guess we'll have to wait for it to finish.

[peter doesn't seem to think this is a problem. he can get his hands under isaac's shirt just fine standing in the kitchen.]

[freezerburned]

Hey.

[Isaac is laughing at suddenly being accosted and narrowly avoids stepping on Peter's foot when he shuffles backward a little at the attention.]

Impatient?

[werewolfing]

[he just barely doesn't overbalance when isaac shuffles backwards, one foot staggering back and arms squeezing around him for a moment as peter gets his feet properly under himself again]

Plenty patient. Just also greedy.

[he sounds suspiciously proud about it, considering.]

[freezerburned]

[The odd little graceless dance is making Isaac laugh, and he moves to pull Peter's hands away from him so that he can turn around and face him fully.]

I'm aware. [But hit thumb has olive oil on it from touching Peter's arm, and it takes him a moment to put two and two together.] How's your wrist?

[werewolfing]

It's fine. Itches, but they do that.

[he holds it up for isaac to inspect, showing the underside of his wrist where his veins show through faintly beneath the golden circle of the moon. he never explained the coloring, the black outlines of the partial moons, the full moon colored gold and the new moon a deep purple that almost looks black.]

[freezerburned]

[Isaac nods, looking over it with a soft murmur of acknowledgement.]

You should have colored all of them. The middle ones look empty.

[RUDE, super rude, but apparently Isaac has to get his tattoos blowtorched on, so he feels like he has a right to be a little critical. Even if it is a really bitchin tattoo, let's be honest.]

[werewolfing]

[peter doesn't seem to think it's rude, he just smiles.]

They're supposed to be. I didn't get those two colored just to be pretty.

[freezerburned]

Yeah?

[Isaac glances behind him, makes sure that the counter space is clear before grabbing onto the edge and popping himself up to sit on it, dangling his feet against their cupboards.]

Why, then?

[werewolfing]

[peter settles between isaac's knees, leaning lightly against the counter and setting his elbow on isaac's thigh to prop his wrist up.]

I don't know, Isaac, why would I possibly color the full moon yellow?
