[She's from, more or less, the same time period as them both now. Just... slightly less allied with either of them.]

[ He has to consider it for a second, because - that's a good question. He's not sure where he stands with Erica now, only that she left; though the fact that she ran away from Derek's war is smart, a plus in her favor. ]

We're good. I think we're good. I don't blame her for leaving, if that's what you mean.

[ Wow if that "Allison shot the crap out of Erica" ball ever drops he's going to feel bad about things. ]

[He pauses a moment, looking thoughtful.]

You're doing okay though?

[ Scott has to think about it, doesn't want to gloss over it, and it occurs to him that a few weeks ago Isaac asking him that would've seemed like some kind of breakthrough. Now it's still important, but it's comfortable, not half the surprise it used to be. ]

Yeah. I think I am. [ Things were as squared away as they possibly could be back home. The outcome wasn't all great, and he still worried about Allison and Stiles, but things had finally settled down. As for here- ]

I guess now we know what happened to Stiles and Derek. [ There's a pause, because he's not sure if this is a good thing or not. ] Maybe they'll come back eventually, too.

[He nods, rubbing at the back of his neck.]

Maybe they will. I don't know. [He doesn't know if he really wants either of them here. Stiles and Isaac had never got along and probably would never do so, and Derek... was complicated. With Derek here, Erica would probably feel the need to run again- and it would potentially destroy the tentative friendship that Isaac was already building with Scott.]

But I guess it's good to know that nobody important dies, right?

[Nobody important equaling Matt, Gerard, Victoria, half the police force, and just about every other person adding to the body count. Obviously.]

[ ... Scott would like to argue with the 'nobody important' thing, but he knows it's probably a losing fight. And he can actually understand what he means, even if it's a moral stretch.

Although the Argents and Matt didn't count as nobody important - neither did the police force, obviously. Either way, Scott felt varying degrees of responsible; hard to count that as a victory. ]

Yeah. I guess. [ There's a slightly heavy pause, then- ] I still can't believe my mom knows.

Yeah. It's- something.

[He doesn't really get Scott's relationship with his mom, but remembering the way that the two of them interacted with one another when they were opening Jackson's bodybag, or the way Melissa would come to all of their lacrosse games... they seemed close. Isaac doesn't comprehend that well, or really even understand why Scott would care so much.
