[It only takes her about six minutes to finish walking home. Apparently, the bar they went to was closer to Sigyn than she realized. It's weird to be back. Sort of like visiting a town your family vacations at every summer... except Erica's never had that sort of family vacation before. She wants to just get home and change out of the outfit she wore to the rave, ask Isaac a few questions than eat something since she realized now how hungry she is...

These are all things she'll do once she gets inside. She spent sixteen years in Beacon Hills and it's odd how much more at home she feels in a place she's only been for less than a year. Even back home with the werewolf stuff it's not the same sort of change as this place is.

Opening the door, she moves to shut it behind her.]

Isaac!! [His name gets shouted as she moves to tug her boots off.]

[He has to see this. Has to see her. As much as Isaac has adjusted to the idea that the Erica here and the Erica at home were the same people... it's difficult to parse, when he rounds the corner to the doorway and sees her standing in the room, taking her boots off.

She's wearing the clothes she wore to the rave. Isaac tries to think, how far does that make her? And more importantly- does it matter?

He doesn't embrace her like he was planning. Instead, he moves forward one step and then two, just watching her, slack-jawed.]

Erica. Are you- are you alright?

[better]

[Her foot slides out of her boot, leaving her standing near the door in socks as she looks up at him. Her smile starts out as a smirk at the corner of her mouth, but breaks into a grin at seeing him. It's interesting to have more memories of time together with him than she had at home and maybe seeing him as cemented in her mind that he'd been there for her before she'd been a wolf - even if it was just here.]

I had some blue drink. It was alright, but then I left and I think I'm okay. [a beat.] Are you okay? You're kinda ... weirding me out.

[freezerburned]

Yeah. I'm fine, I just.

[He shakes his head, as if to clear his thoughts.]

It's like walking through a time machine. [A pause.] You remember being here, right? The masquerade- working at the library- just, this?

[better]

[There's that quirk of a smile again.] Yeah, I remember all of that. The ice giants, the shadow wolves -- I only went back for a month of time there. It's not like I was back in Beacon Hills for years and years.

[Her mouth goes into a tight line after saying that, because she doesn't have years and years back home. Just a few more months.]

I remember being here.

[freezerburned]

I know, but- Stiles forgot he'd been here before. I dunno if that would have happened to you too.

[But he shrugs and takes a step closer, holding an arm out for her.]

You still like me?

[better]

[She glances to the arm, but stays put.]

You realize I could've played this up for a much bigger reaction, but you're my best friend. I wouldn't bullshit you.

[freezerburned]

You're actually breaking my heart.

[Isaac sighs, giving her a pleading little puppydog look.]

Come here?

[better]

Ooh, actual heart-breakage. [She grins and lifts her brows, she really could just try to get him to come to her, but she'll give in and move toward him. Not really the room to run toward him, but she'll take those few quick steps toward him and hug him.] You know I was barely gone for a day. You couldn't have missed me. You even said you didn't notice I was gone!! You thought I was at work.

[Which.. oh. Work. At the library.] I am going to be the sexy librarian now.

[freezerburned]

[Isaac scoffs at that and rolls his eyes as he pulls her into a hug, pressing his cheek against her suddenly-smooth hair, before pulling back with a sigh, holding her shoulders and looking her up and down.

Maybe a little appreciatively.]

Just want to make sure that we're still cool.

[better]

[She moves to rest her hands against his arms, looking up at him and nodding.]

We're still cool. Though, I do have to ask you something. [Insert dramatic pause.]

Do you just have a thing for threesomes?

[Okay, so she FULLY expects to get hell for that, but REALLY... one of the last things she did was the whole Isaac/Erica/Jackson bait thing.]

Erica!

[Isaac shoves her for that, looking totally affronted. Totally affronted. The most affronted. How could you even say that?]

Seriously?

[She grins at him, moving back toward him since his shove did give her a bit of a few steps away from him.]

Is that in my future? Did you leave out some dark, mysterious sexual relationship? Is that why you were so worried if we were okay or not? [She's so asking for it.]

[freezerburned]

Oh my god.

[Isaac just turns and starts walking away from her in a mock huff.]

Trust me, if I wanted in on your relationship with Sam or Stiles or anyone, I'd be in.

[better]

[She shuffles over toward his mock huffing away from her and tugs on his shirt to stop him from moving.]

Hey! I'm slightly insulted. Also, there's no Stiles or anyone else. It's just Sam and you'd be lucky if I let you into that relationship.

[freezerburned]

Uh huh. Who wanted me to be her first kiss?

[Now who's teasing.]

[better]

[Erica lets go of his shirt and mouths the word 'w o w' at him.]

Low shot there, Lahey. [She was careful not to say low blow.] That was about trust more than wanting to make-out with you.

[freezerburned]

[He just lifts his eyebrows. What?]

Lots of people want to make out with me. I'm sure I could work my way in if I was really determined.

[better]

[She's not sure where this conversation is even going anymore... and she's trying not to be slightly insulted at the implication that he wouldn't have been really determined to make-out with her - except she just tried to diffuse the whole remark she had made about him being her first kiss if she hadn't dated Sam. It's all very confusing now and she'd just like it to stop.

Her arms fold across her chest and she just gives him a Look.]

[freezerburned]

[Isaac rolls his eyes.]

I'm teasing you. Come on.

[better]

[She's still not impressed.]

Besides, we [There's gesturing between the two of them.] already made-out. It's right in there with all of the things that happened about two hours before I showed back here.

[freezerburned]

Oh- you remember that then.

[He laughs, trying to lighten the mood a little.]

We should compare notes. Timelines, I mean- not kissing.

[better]

Notes to compare would be... Kanima - not Lydia, still alive, still probably unaware.

[She shrugs, crossing the room and dropping down onto the couch.]

It got out, because Scott was in trouble and so Derek made the choice to break the ash line and go after him. It's not lost on me that he trapped us in with the Kanima and its master, either. Hindsight, I guess.

Was Derek even in on the whole mountain ash thing?

[Isaac just sighs.]

Either way, we lived, didn't we? Jackson is the Kanima. Matt... was the master, but he doesn't live very long after the rave. Things kind of get worse before they get better.

[better]

Yeah, it just sucks that being back home I don't remember any of this. I could've saved everyone a lot of trouble. Shown up. Ruined all the surprises. Saved the day.

[She shrugs.] Or I would've been locked up. Who knows.
